Data – VT Owner vs Renter Occupied Housing

One way to measure the economic wellbeing of Vermont residents is to observe the percentage of housing units occupied by owners versus renters.  Across Vermont, only 24.4% of Black-occupied housing is owned by its residents.  This compares to 71.7% for white homeowners.

Note: In smaller towns, there is a high level of uncertainty to these estimates.
